    Shilas may come out of closet for Ram temple

    Two worshipped stones (pujit shilas) locked in Faizabad district treasury during then PM Vajpayee’s stint at the Centre may finally be taken out of the closet after 18 years for the Ram temple, mandated by the Supreme Court verdict. The shilas were ritually worshipped by the two flagbearers of the temple movement, Ashok Singhal and Mahant Ramchandra Das Paramhans, both of whom have passed away.
