    BJP for Dalit freedom fighter’s 100-foot statue

    UP BJP has demanded that a 100-foot tall statue of Uda Devi Pasi, who fought against the British in Lucknow in 1857, be installed in the state capital. The demand was raised by UP BJP’s SC/ST panel chief Kaushal Kishore at a Dalit convention in Lucknow on Sunday.
